For example, if you are good on math, offer particular classes to high school students. If you are a good musician or play the guitar, offer guitar classes. If you like painting, paint some pictures and try to sell then on art galleries or art exhibitions. Did you catch the common factor? Earn money by doing something pleasurable for you.

The second approach would be taking advantage of your internet surfing habit to make some money. I mean, if you are reading this article, it means that you at least frequent article directories or search Google frequently. So, why not take this time you spend on the internet to make money? You Just Lost Your Word Document… Now Don’t Lose Your Head

“Don’t lose your head because you can probably recover your document.”

You spent the last several hours working on a Word document. It was perfect. You saved it. Everything’s great right? Right. But now you start making changes with the intention of cloning the document to create a new one (e.g. you’re writing letters or press releases or memos, etc). And then, after you get all the modifications done you hit save. Everything’s great right?

Oops! You just overwrote your first document. What do you do? You most likely don’t have a backup copy of the original so you can’t recover it. All you have is your memory of the perfect document. Don’t lose your head because you can probably recover your document.

I’m sure most of you know how to use UNDO already but in a situation like this you may be able to use it to recover your original document – as long as you’re careful. Undo captures individual actions – like typing one sentence or deleting a paragraph. It then stores up dozens and even hundreds of these actions (depending on your version of Word) so you can undo them one or many at a time. If you haven’t made too many changes you may be able to Undo all the way back to your original document.

But before you undo your second document you need to take some precautionary steps. Whatever you do, don’t close Word or the Undo feature will lose track of all your work (you should also avoid doing a Save As at this time too). First, select all the text in your current document and copy it (Edit -> Copy). Next, open a NEW Word document (File -> New) and paste your current document there. Finally, save the new document with a new file name. Now go back to your original document and undo your changes until you find the first document. Then click Save (File -> Save) to resave the original version.

Whew. Crisis averted. You stayed calm, used your brain and saved your work without even a cry for help. Ok, maybe you cried at first but nobody else has to know that.
