Lawrence Rosen is one of the founding partners of the law firm of Solton Rosen & Balakhovsky LLP, founded more than 10 years ago.  Laurence Rosen has extensive experience in corporate and securities law, and particular expertise in class action litigation, securities and financing and development of new ventures.  Laurence has a broad range of experience in the challenging legal and strategic issues that confront fast-growing, entrepreneurial companies.

Lawrence Rosen is a recognized expert and lead attorney in many class actions involving violations of §10(b),  20(a) and 20A of the Securities Exchange Act, and has successfully represented clients in different class action suits involving violations of state and federal securities laws.
Laurence Rosen has also had a long and distinguished career in public service, and has  served as an Assistant Federal Defender and as law clerk to the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman, Senior United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Laurence Rosen co-founded NetLive Communications, Inc., where he served successively as General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, and ultimately Chief Executive Officer and  director.  NetLive is a leading Internet software development company and is publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock market.
Prior to forming the law firm of Solton Rosen & Balakhovsky LLP, Laurence Rosen has served as an attorney at the international law firms of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and McCarter & English, where he specialized in corporate and securities transactions and mergers & acquisitions, finance and banking transactions for Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions.
