Joel K. Bohmart is of counsel with the law firm of Solten Rosen & Balakhovsky LLP.  Joel has more than 40 years of expertise and experience in a wide variety of different types of litigation at the federal, state and appellate court level, and currently concentrates his practice in the area of trademarks, copyrights, and domain name disputes, as well as complex business and real property transactions and litigation.   

Representative Highlights

Mr. Bohmart successfully represented and served as chief trial counsel in a wide variety of copyright and trademark infringement actions at the district court and appeal court levels.  Among many successes, Mr. Bohmart obtained a reversal of a judgment in a copyright infringement appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, which resulted in the establishment of new law for international copyrights.
Mr. Bohmart also successfully litigated and obtained significant judgments and reasonable settlements for his clients in a number of actions involving commercial and real estate matters, shareholder disputes, as well as intellectual property matters and bankruptcy proceedings.
